New Hope

What is hope? Hope can be held on to. Hope can be followed. Hope gives support and comfort. Hope makes the impossible possible. Isn't it strange, because as far as i know, no one seems to understand exactly what this "hope" is and where does it comes from? It pops into our minds in difficult times, does its thing and then disappears. Maybe every new hope is new?

This picture was taken in the winter of 2024. I was out for a walk and noticed pigeons sitting on the edge. I watched them for a while, thinking that it was interesting how they could still cope with this cold. Are they also hoping for warmer weather. It was quite a winter outside. People passed by and created shadows, I waited and captured a shadow following hope.
