Hidden inside oneself
Hidden inside oneself
Even the most beautiful sometimes want to hide in themselves. It seems to me that life is largely about showing off. It can be seen everywhere, in plants, animals and also in the behavior of humans. A flower bud wants to be the most attractive, an animal wants to be the strongest as well a human wants to stand out from others of his kind. Look at me, look at me, I have value. But inevitably, there are moments in life when even the most prominent need to hide from this world. To go to the only place where there is no need to compete with anyone, indside oneself.
I took this picture in the spring of 2024. It was a dark period, my close uncle died the day before and I must have shed tears when I was on this photo walk. I wanted to disappear, into myself. But I guess that's the magic of photography, we notice around us what's happening inside us.
This picture is No. 231 of my 1000 picture series.
